With the workplace wellbeing now becoming a priority for many companies along with post pandemic fallout - the move to hybrid working, regaining a work-life balance, I offer group workshops and 1:1 sessions to meet the variety of needs workers face.

Coaching for Employees

50 minute 1:1 coaching sessions

A hybrid of therapy and coaching, wellbeing coaching provides a space for people to talk about anything challenging them or keeping them stuck. Human beings are complex creatures and a one size fits all approach doesn’t work.

My approach combines a space to talk with practical tools and strategies to combat blocks, whether that’s stress management, working relationships, managing anxiety, better time management, setting boundaries - plus coaching – asking the right questions to allow people to come up with their own solutions.

You decide how many sessions you’d like to purchase ( blocks of 10, 20 02 30) and I will manage it, providing a booking link for your people. All conversations are confidential and I will keep you updated with the number of sessions booked.

My workshops

I can also work with you to create a bespoke workshop to meet your team’s needs. My specialism is working with people in the Creative industries of Fashion and Media, however, whatever sector you are in, I am very happy to speak with you about how your organisation could benefit from my expertise.

  • Make Resilience Your Superpower! Resilience isn’t a personality trait, it’s a learning process. Through greater awareness we can learn how to identify our trigger points, manage our emotional response to challenging situations, change our perception and transform negative experiences into our superpower! In this workshop you will learn what the components are that make up resilience.  Your secret and not-so-secret drivers that impact your resilience and how to use these to develop mental and emotional strength. Access your inner resources - using your past as a springboard to help you handle life better today. Grow your reserve of resilience so that when sh** hits the fan you don’t go into meltdown.

You will leave with your own personal action plan to keep building your resilience.

  • The pandemic has understandably destabilised most of us. We find ourselves anxious, uncertain and having difficulty focusing. I’ve created this Stress Management Workshop with my top tools and strategies specifically to address both the physical and mental manifestations of stress and the effect it’s having on our focus during this challenging time.

    • Tools to deal with spiralling thoughts and worrying

    • Strategies to calm the nervous system in moments of panic that you can use anytime

    • Accessible and practical solutions for staying calm, maintaining focus and feeling in control

    • We’ll finish with a powerful stress busting guided meditation that will calm your system and enable you to access this calm state whenever you need to.

    • Q&A session

  • As we navigate the shifting landscape of the pandemic and lockdown, we’re having to continuously adapt our ways of living and working. Lines between home and work have been blurred for a while now and it’s understandable that we're feeling burnt out. Overwhelm, burnout, resentment, guilt, feeling drained, feeling like you don’t have any control are all issues that can be helped by having an awareness of boundaries and by taking action to create better ones. It’s now even more important to create and preserve boundaries with work and life to remain happy, stress free, focused and present.

    Key session takeaways:

    • Discussion on what poor boundaries show up in different areas

    • Conquering ‘Zoom fatigue’ a dive into our digital boundaries - how to have healthy limits around screen time and social media

    • Actionable steps for behaviour change

    • Practical tools to strengthen boundaries to create more balance and harmony in your life as we emerge out of lockdown and beyond

Some illuminating stats:

With employers seeing a return of £5.30 on average for every £1 invested in staff mental health, the economic argument for putting wellbeing at the heart of post-covid recovery is clear.”

- Paul Farmer OBE, CEO, Mind

“Business units with engaged workers have 23% higher profit compared with business units with miserable workers. Additionally, teams with thriving workers see significantly lower absenteeism, turnover and accidents; they also see higher customer loyalty. The point is: Wellbeing at work isn’t at odds with anyone’s agenda

– Jon Clifton CEO, Gallup Source: Gallup State of the Global Workplace: 2022 Report

37% of UK employees are suffering from worse mental health than before the pandemic and 73% of those cite work as at least partially responsible

A 2021 McKinsey survey found that 53% of employers said they’re experiencing a greater period of voluntary turnover than they’ve ever seen before.

  • The top reasons employees are quitting their jobs is because they:

  •  Don’t feel valued by their business (54%)

  • Don’t feel valued by their managers (52%)

  • Or they didn’t feel a sense of belonging in their workplace (51%)

Corporate client feedback

“ Resilience is your super power, a great workshop and really gets you to think about the way you behave in challenging situations in work and personal life.
It has really supported the team and myself on how we approach our day to day challenges to how we respond to things we find difficult to deal with. Even if we are not sure how to approach the challenge we are all more aware of how are colleges feel and can support each other. We use a lot of what we have learnt in our teams one to one catch ups as well as appraisals.”

Annalisa Gioia – Head of Design, Oliver Bonas

“Kate has provided individual wellbeing coaching sessions for our team since June 2021 and all the feedback I've received has been so positive. I know that these sessions have made such a difference for our Portlanders, giving them a space to talk freely and strategies to deal with the challenges they are facing. Kate has made the whole process so easy with an online booking system and is very responsive when we have a team member in need of an urgent session. I highly recommend Kate to any companies wishing to support the mental wellbeing of their people!”

Emily Williams - Global HR Business Partner, Portland

“Kate carried out a fantastic workshop for the Heathrow Corporate Communications team on Stress Resilience and setting boundaries last month. Kate encouraged group conversations and provided the team with helpful coping mechanisms on being stress resilient and mindful on emotions – both at work and in our personal lives. I’d highly recommend Kate to speak at your team meeting, away day or individual coaching! ”

Shabana Bhatty - Communications Planning Executive, Heathrow

"Kate has been incredible with helping us coach and support our team on topics around wellbeing. The feedback from the team has been outstanding, the attendance and engagement has been some of the highest we've seen with any of our wellbeing initiatives. Looking forward to working on more coaching in future!"
